The modern time has made us realize that kids do need a separate room for themselves. Kids Room is different from all the other rooms of the house in all aspects. Be it colour or design, everything should be according to the kids. Kids room play a vital role in their life. They adopte a lot many good habits from the starting which certainly benefits them in the later life. So Kids room are to be remodeled if they are not suitable for the kid.

So here are some of the ideas for remodeling your kids room


1 Mini Art Gallery

It is the most important part of the kids room and has a great impact on kids. A Mini Art Gallery will boost up your child to showcase his talent and will build creativity in him. You can put up all his drawings and make Mini Art Gallery. Also you can teach him craft work and add variety to the Gallery. By this you can preserve his work. Your kid also feels happy that his work is being placed in the Art Gallery and he will make more art and craft work which will keep him engaged and will also develop his mind. By this way you can preserve his work for a lifetime and his work will become part of good memories.





2 Wallpapers and Colours

We all are well aware that kids of this generation are big fans of Super heroes and how much they love some specific cartoon character. This is a good thing as Superheroes teach good lessons and have great influence on the kids. So to decorate and make kids happy, posters and wallpapers of their superheroes and cartoons can be put on the walls. This is a cheap method of decorating the room and it also looks good. Also the wall colour should be selected with care. Blue is preferred colour for boys and pink for girls.







3 Bed

The bed is the one most important element of the kids room as it is related to the safety of your kids. Kids play on bed and often jump on it so it mandatory that the mattress should be of good quality and cozy. Also the height of the bed should not be much and there should be no metal on the bed. Bunk beds are ideal if there are two or more kids and they share the same room. Bunk beds are less space consuming, looks attractive and are comparatively less expensive if you buy two different beds.








4 Family Picture

There should be at least one family picture in the Kids room. Family pictures work on the moral grounds of the kids and improves the bond between parents and kids. Family pictures complete the room and look beautiful on the walls. Pictures of kid on his achievements like when he got a trophy or receiving some award or performing some art on stage will look great on the walls.



5 Flooring

The flooring of the room should not be ignored. Flooring is as important as any other thing in the room. Children, will playing, often fell down on the ground and hurt themselves and sometimes they hurt themselves severely. To avoid any damage or hurt, you can cover the floor with a soft carpet. Carpet should be thick enough to prevent any hurt. Also carpet is good in the winters when the floor is cold and is a necessity if the temperature of your area is always low especially in hilly areas.



6 Separate cupboard

There should be a separate cupboard in the kids room for all his clothing including his fancy clothes and his uniform and as the kid is 6-7 year old he should be made responsible for his cupboard. The reason for this is that it makes the child responsible and gets a good habit of doing his work himself. This habit really helps in up bringing of the child. The other good part of this is that you will not have to search and there will be no miss placing or mixing of kid clothes with the other clothes and there will be less burden on parents.



7 Sufficient Shelfs

There should be sufficient shelves in the room for the kid to keep his toys and other accessories. If there are less no of shelves, the toys won’t get a desired place and will be lying here and there, making the room look messy which in turn has a bad impact on child and restricts him from keeping the room clean.
